Registered Massage Therapist

Amanda graduated with a diploma from West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour curriculum in 2002. She has ran a successful massage therapy practice independently for the last 21 years. She has gained valuable knowledge working with clients experiencing chronic pain, soft tissue injuries, headaches/migraines, postural stress and strain, anxiety, arthritis, post surgical, geriatrics, pregnancy and postpartum care.

Amanda believes that balance is the key to managing pain, rehabilitation, and overall wellbeing. She treats each client with respect, listening and assessing the whole interconnected picture to formulate the best treatment approach for each individual. Amanda uses patient education to help the client have an active role in their wellness. She uses a variety of techniques from swedish massage, to diverse myofascial mobilization techniques, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations and more.
